##### Calculating payment
###### Charging for the first month

For the first month, the billing period starts after the trial end date, you are not charged for the first 30 days.

For example, if the registration for Lyve Cloud occurred on November 9, the billing starts from December 9 for the remaining days of the month (December 31). The bill is generated, and the credit card is charged on January 1, thus, you are charged for 23 days.

The breakdown of the prorated calculation is explained below.

Customer registration date: Nov 9 (30 days in November)

Trial period: November 9 – December 8 (30 days)

Number of days to charge:  December 9 – 31 (23 days)

Minimum committed usage for a month: 250 TB

Monthly charge for 250 TB: $2250/month • Usage is equal to or less than 250TB in a month (For example, 150TB) (Minimum committed usage/number of days in a month) * number of days to charge Usage per day = (250/30) TB/day = 8.33 TB per day Usage for 23 days = Usage per day * Number of days to charge =8.33 * 23 = 191.59 TB Standard charging : The prorated charge for 23 days = Usage *$9 = 191.59 * 9 = $1724.59 + Tax (if applicable). • Usage is more than 250TB (For example, 300TB) (Usage/number of days in a month) * number of days to charge Usage per day = (300/30) = 10TB Usage for 23 days = Usage per day * Number of days to charge = 10TB * 23 = 230TB Standard charging: The prorated charge for 23 days = Usage *$9 = 230*9 = $2070 + Tax (if applicable). ### Note The tax is calculated over and above the plan charge if it is applicable. ###### Charging for a cancelled account When an account is cancelled, the billing period ends on the cancellation date. For example, if the Lyve Cloud account is cancelled on November 9, the account is charged from November 1 - 9. The bill is generated, and the credit card is charged on November 9 at the end of the day, thus you are charged for nine days. The breakdown of the prorated calculation is explained below. Account cancellation date: November 9 (30 days in November) Billing period: November 1 – 9 (9 days) Number of days to charge: November 1 – 9 (9 days) Minimum committed usage for a month: 250TB Monthly charge for 250TB:$2250/month

• Usage is equal to or less than 250TB in a month (For example, 150TB)

(Minimum committed usage/number of days in a month) * number of days to charge

Usage per day = (250/30) = 8.34TB

Usage for 9 days = Usage per day * Number of days to charge

=8.34 * 9 = 75.06 TB

Standard charging: The prorated charge for 9 days = Usage * $9 = 75.06 * 9 =$ 675.54 + Tax (if applicable).

• Usage is more than 250TB (For example, 300TB)

(Minimum committed usage/number of days in a month)/ number of days to charge

Usage per day = (300/30) = 10TB

Usage for 9 days = Usage per day*Number of days to charge

= 10TB*9 = 80TB

Standard Charging: The prorated charge for 8 days = Usage * $9 = 80*9 =$720 + Tax (if applicable).

###### Charging for the next month

The Lyve Cloud account is charged based on the previous month’s storage use. If storage limits for the selected billing month exceed 250TB during the month, the account is charged based on the usage and billed accordingly.

For example, the customer is committed to pay for 250TB of storage every month. If the storage usage exceeds 250TB a month, the account is charged \$9 per TB for actual usage on the next month's bill. However, if the usage ranges between 0-250 TB, the customer is charged 250 TB.
